Style Spotlight Subscription

1. Subscription, Cancellation and Refunds:

  • You can unsubscribe from the Style Spotlight Subscription at any time.

  • To cancel your subscription, please notify us by the last Tuesday of the month.

  • Refunds for subscriptions are not provided after the PDF has been sent.

  • If you cancel your subscription within 14 days of the purchase, except after the PDF has been sent, a refund can be issued.

  • To manage your subscription, you can access the necessary options by following this link.

  • If you have any difficulties while trying to manage your subscription or have any questions, you can send us an email at hi@mariapersonalshopper.com.

  • If you require a refund, please contact us directly at hi@mariapersonalshopper.com. We will assist you in processing your refund request.

  • Your subscription will automatically renew every month until you choose to cancel it.

  • A payment of £9,99 will be processed from your account on the same day each month, corresponding to the day of your initial payment.

  • The subscription fee is £9,99 per month per person.

    • Sharing the monthly PDF with others is not allowed, and each person must have their own paid subscription.

    • The PDF provided as part of the subscription is strictly prohibited from being shared online or with other individuals.

    • We reserve the right to take legal action for any damages incurred as a result of unauthorized sharing.

  • Maria Personal Shopper reserves the right to cancel the service at any time without prior notice.

  • In the event of a cancellation initiated by Maria Personal Shopper, a refund will be provided if the subscription has been paid for.

  • While we make every effort to ensure the timely delivery of the monthly email, we cannot be held responsible if it fails to reach the customer. In such cases, we will make reasonable attempts to resend the monthly email, but we are not obligated to provide a refund.

2. Outfit Proposals:

  • The outfits presented in the Style Spotlight Subscription are not personalized to your individual style or preferences.

  • The Style Spotlight Subscription caters to women between sizes 6 and 14.

  • The outfit proposals are exclusively designed for women.

  • While the subscription provides generic outfit proposals, we also offer online and in-person consultations for those seeking a more personalized experience.

  • The monthly PDF will include three outfit proposals.

    • The first outfit will feature affordable high-street options.

    • The second outfit will be based on mid-end brands.

    • The third and final outfit will be focused on sustainable commerce.

      • ​A sustainable outfit refers to a clothing ensemble that is produced, consumed, and disposed of in an environmentally and socially responsible manner. It takes into account various aspects of sustainability, including the ethical sourcing of materials, fair labour practices, minimal environmental impact throughout the production process, and longevity in terms of durability and timeless design. Sustainable outfits often incorporate eco-friendly materials, such as organic or recycled fibres, and are created with the aim of reducing waste, pollution, and the overall carbon footprint of the fashion industry. They promote conscious consumerism and a more sustainable approach to fashion, aligning with the principles of environmental stewardship and social responsibility.

      • Finding brands that are 100% sustainable can be challenging. However, We will make an effort to suggest brands for sustainable outfits that align as closely as possible with the definition of sustainability provided. While complete sustainability may be difficult to achieve, the focus will be on recommending brands that prioritize eco-friendly materials, ethical practices and have a commitment to reducing their environmental impact. The goal is to promote and support fashion choices that are more sustainable and contribute to a greener and more socially responsible industry.

      • As a sustainability measure, the sustainable outfit may feature some recurring garments from month to month, but they will be combined in completely different ways in each proposal. This allows for maximizing the use and versatility of existing wardrobe items, avoiding unnecessary purchases, and promoting a more conscious approach to fashion. By showcasing different combinations and styling options with the same garments, the aim is to inspire subscribers to experiment with their current clothing and discover new ways to wear them, thereby reducing waste and encouraging a mindset of sustainable fashion.

 

3. Purchase and Responsibility:

  • The Style Spotlight Subscription includes links to clothing and accessory items from brands and stores within the United Kingdom.

  • If you make a purchase from another country, please be aware that we are not responsible for stock availability or any associated customs fees.

  • There is no obligation to purchase any products showcased in the PDF.

  • If you experience any issues with stock availability, we apologize for the inconvenience but cannot provide replacements.

 

4. Payment and Currency:

  • Payments for the subscription are accepted in pounds (GBP) only.

  • If a payment fails to be collected before the specified date, due to circumstances beyond our control, the corresponding monthly PDF will not be sent to the customer.*

5. Data Security and Account Security:

  • We do not store any banking information. Payments are securely processed through the Stripe platform, which handles all payment transactions.

  • It is your responsibility to keep your login details confidential and secure.

  • Ensure that you choose a strong, unique password and do not share your login credentials with anyone.

  • We are not liable for any unauthorized access to your account resulting from your failure to maintain the security of your login information.

6. Affiliate Links and Sponsorship:

  • The garments and accessories featured in the PDF may contain affiliate links.

  • It is important to note that not all links are affiliate-based.

  • While we do include affiliate links for certain garments or accessories, our selection is not solely based on them.

  • We want to assure you that we are not sponsored by any brands and maintain complete independence.

  • If any sponsorship occurs in the future, it will be clearly indicated.

Personal Shopping Experience

Please carefully read and understand the following terms and conditions before booking the Personal Shopping Experience in London for women and men. By proceeding with the booking, you agree to comply with these terms:

  • The Personal Shopping Experience is designed to assist you in finding your unique style by offering guidance, advice, and assistance during a shopping excursion.

  • The service includes:

    • An initial telephone consultation to discuss your preferences and requirements.

      • An initial telephone consultation will be scheduled to discuss your specific requirements, preferences, and objectives for the personal shopping experience.

    • A video call for introductions and preparation before the shopping trip.

      • A video call will be arranged before the shopping experience to allow you to meet your personal shopper and further discuss your expectations.

      • The purpose of this video call is to understand your needs, style preferences, budget constraints, and any specific items or brands you are interested in.

    • Prior research to determine the best shopping locations based on your needs and budget.

      • We will conduct prior research to identify the best shopping locations and stores based on your needs and budget.

      • Our goal is to maximize your shopping experience by selecting the most suitable location for your objectives.

    • Up to 3 hours of in-person shopping together.

      • The personal shopping experience includes up to 3 hours of shopping together with your personal shopper.

      • Additional shopping time can be arranged for an extra fee, subject to availability.

    • Knowledge and tips to help you make informed and stylish purchases.

      • Your personal shopper will provide you with knowledge, advice, and tips to help you make informed purchasing decisions.

      • We will share tricks of the trade, styling recommendations, and insights into the latest fashion trends to make the most of your shopping spree.

 

2. Booking and Payment​​

  • Payment for the personal shopping experience must be made in advance, and the fee is non-refundable.

  • Booking dates and times are subject to availability and must be scheduled in advance.

  • Any additional expenses incurred during the shopping trip, such as purchases made at stores, transportation, or dining, are not included in the personal shopping fee and will be your responsibility.

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling​

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule your personal shopping experience, please do so at least 72 hours before the scheduled.

  • If you request to reschedule your appointment with less than a 72 hour notice, an additional fee will be charged.

  • We reserve the right to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, in which case we will make every effort to accommodate your schedule.

 

4. Duration of Service

  • The Personal Shopping Experience includes up to 3 hours of shopping together.

  • Additional shopping time can be arranged for an extra fee, subject to availability.

5. Personalized Selection

  • During the shopping experience, the personal shopper will select clothing and accessories that align with your unique style and preferences.

  • The selections are made exclusively for you, with the goal of enhancing your wardrobe.

  • The personal shopper will provide advice on how to dress in a way that flatters your individual style.

  • You will gain insights into choosing cuts, fabrics, colours, and styles that suit you.

  • The Personal Shopping Experience is exclusively designed for clients with clothing sizes up to 16 (UK sizing). Clients whose clothing sizes exceed 16 are encouraged to contact us for alternative personalized shopping services or recommendations that better cater to their needs and preferences.

 

6. Liability

  • While we strive to ensure a successful shopping experience, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes or the availability of particular items at stores.

  • We are not responsible for any damages, losses, or liabilities related to the purchased items or the shopping experience.

 

7. Privacy​

  • We take data security seriously and employ industry-standard measures to protect your personal information provided during consultations, video calls, and throughout the personal shopping experience.

  • All data, including personal details and shopping preferences, will be securely stored and used solely for the purpose of providing our services. We will not share your data with third parties without your explicit consent.

  • Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Before booking the Wardrobe Edit Experience, please carefully review and agree to the following terms and conditions. By proceeding with the booking, you agree to abide by these terms:

  • The Wardrobe Edit Experience is designed to help you assess and improve your wardrobe, providing clarity on your style, body shape, and clothing choices. 

  • The Wardrobe Edit Experience includes up to 3 hours of personalised assistance.

  • Additional time can be arranged for an extra fee, subject to availability.

  • The service includes:

    • An initial phone consultation to discuss your wardrobe requirements.

      • An initial telephone consultation will be scheduled to discuss your specific requirements, preferences, and objectives for the wardrobe edit experience.

    • Body shape analysis to better understand what clothing styles complement your figure.

      • We will analyse your body shape to help you understand which clothing styles are most flattering for you.

    • Reviewing your current clothing items and assisting with decluttering.

      • During the experience, your wardrobe will be reviewed and decluttered to identify what works and what doesn't.

    • Providing a shopping list of missing items needed to enhance your wardrobe.

    • Sharing knowledge and tips to maximize your existing wardrobe's potential.

      • You will learn how to dress in a way that complements your body shape and aligns with your personal style.

      • Tips and tricks will be shared to help you make confident and considered clothing choices.

 

2. Booking and Payment

  • The cost of the Wardrobe Edit Experience is £185.

  • Payment must be made in advance to secure your booking.

  • Booking dates and times are subject to availability and must be scheduled in advance.

Outfit Planner Addon

Please carefully review these terms and conditions for the Outfit Planner Addon before choosing to upgrade your personal shopping experience. By selecting this addon, you agree to adhere to the following terms:

1. Outfit Planner Description

  • The Outfit Planner Addon is an enhancement to our personal shopping or wardrobe edit experience.

  • It includes the creation of a personalized mood board in PDF format featuring either 7 or 14 outfits, depending on your selection.

  • These outfits will be curated from the items you purchased during the personal shopping experience or with the clothes you already own in case of purchasing together with the wardrobe edit.

​

2. Pricing

  • The Outfit Planner Addon is available at two pricing tiers:

    • 7 Outfit Planner: £90

    • 14 Outfit Planner: £170

  • The chosen pricing tier will be added to the total cost of your personal shopping experience.

 

3. Mood Board Delivery

  • Your personalized mood board will be delivered to you by email in PDF format within a reasonable time frame after the completion of your personal shopping experience.

  • The mood board will serve as a visual reference for outfit inspiration, providing you with outfit ideas based on the items you acquired.

 

4. Non-Standalone Service

  • The Outfit Planner experience is exclusively available as an upgrade to the personal shopping or wardrobe edit experiences.

  • It cannot be booked or purchased as a standalone service.

  • The personal shopping or wardrobe edit experience must be completed in its entirety before the mood board can be created.

 

5. Modifications and Refunds

  • Once you have purchased the Outfit Planner Addon, modifications to the mood board content (e.g., changing outfits or items) may not be possible without an additional fee.

  • Please note that once you purchase the Outfit Planner Addon experience, the payment is non-refundable.

 

6. Personal Information

  • To create your personalized mood board, we will need access to information about the items you purchased during your personal shopping experience.

  • Your personal information will be handled in accordance with our Data Security and Privacy Policy, as stated in the primary terms and conditions.

  • After the outfits have been presented to you during the Online Personal Shopping Experience video call, they cannot be changed or altered.

  • The stylist's selections are based on the information and preferences discussed during the video call, and the outfits are considered final once presented.

 

5. Shopping Links

  • The stylist will provide links to the specific clothing items, accessories, or shoes selected for you.

  • Clicking on these links will redirect you to the respective brand's website, where you can purchase the recommended products.

  • While we will make every effort to ensure that the selected outfits are in stock at the time of presenting the Online Personal Shopping Experience, we cannot be held responsible for any items that become unavailable or out of stock after the presentation.

  • Stock availability is subject to change, and it is the responsibility of the client to promptly make purchases if they wish to secure the recommended items.

  • We recommend that clients act promptly to purchase the recommended clothing items to avoid potential disappointment due to stock fluctuations or changes.

Referral Program

Terms and Conditions of Referral Program

​

1. Eligibility

  • This Referral Program is open to all existing customers of Maria Personal Shopper & Stylist who have already purchased and completed a face-to-face or online service. To be considered an existing customer, the initial service must be fully completed.

  • The Referral Program begins on April 23, 2024. Referrals made before this date are not eligible for rewards.

 

2. Referral Rewards

  • Refer 5 Friends: Participants who refer five new paying customers (referred friends) to Maria Personal Shopper & Stylist will receive a 40% discount on one eligible experience.

    • This discount applies only to a single face-to-face or online experience and does not include add-ons, extra hours, or other additional costs.

  • Refer 10 Friends: Participants who refer ten new paying customers will receive one complimentary eligible experience, subject to availability.

    • This reward covers only the base price of a single face-to-face or online experience and does not include add-ons, extra hours, or other additional costs.

  • Friend Discount: Each new referred customer will receive a one-time 5% discount on their first face-to-face experience. ​

    • This reward covers only the base price of a single face-to-face. This discount cannot be combined with other promotions, discounts or applied to add-ons, extra hours, or other additional costs.

    • The discount is exclusively applicable to face-to-face experiences. Online experiences and subscriptions to the Style Spotlight are not eligible for this discount.

 

3. Referral Tracking

  • Referrals must be made using the unique referral code provided to you by Maria Personal Shopper & Stylist. This ensures proper tracking and credit of referrals to your account. Referrals made without using the proper referral code will not be eligible for rewards.

 

4. Conditions for Receiving Rewards

  • Eligibility of Referred Friends: To count towards your referral rewards, referred friends must be completely new customers to Maria Personal Shopper & Stylist and must purchase and complete a face-to-face experience. The experience must be fully completed before it is recognized as a successful referral.

  • Impact of Cancellations and Refunds: Any cancelled or refunded face-to-face experiences will not be considered as successful referrals. Only fully paid and completed experiences will qualify for referral rewards.

  • Exclusions on Subscription Purchases: Purchases for online experiences and the Style Spotlight subscription by referred friends do not qualify as successful referrals. Only the specified face-to-face experiences are eligible for the referral program.

5. Redemption of Rewards

  • Rewards must be claimed within six months from the date they are awarded. Failure to claim the reward within this time frame will result in forfeiture.

 

6. General Conditions

  • Maria Personal Shopper & Stylist reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the Referral Program or any part of it without notice at any time and for any reason. Decisions of Maria Personal Shopper & Stylist are final and binding.

 

7. Privacy

  • Personal information collected from participants will be used by Maria Personal Shopper & Stylist solely for the purposes of administering the Referral Program and not for any other purpose without your explicit consent.
